Researchers from the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation have produced the 'Australian farm software directory' (2007 edition). Containing more than 650 titles, this comprehensive guide is the largest of its kind ever produced for agricultural software in Australia.

About the Directory

This directory has been produced as three separate cross-referenced sections:

Software catalogue (PDF, 408 kB)
An alphabetical list of software, including product descriptions and specifications

Company directory (PDF, 88 kB)
Software listed by company

Subject index (PDF, 131 kB)
Software listed by category

Use the 'Subject index' to identify software titles in your area of interest. Then, go to the 'Software catalogue' to read the full description for each. If you like a title produced by one organisation, use the 'Company directory' to view the organisation's full software range.

More information about this project

The 'Australian farm software directory' was created as part of a larger research project on farm software. It was funded by the Rural Industry Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC) during 2005-2007.

View all results from this research in the full RIRDC 'Farm management software for farm businesses' report.

All the data in this report was correct at June 2007, the time of publication.
