Publicly reporting on the status of Queensland's fisheries is an important aspect of managing fisheries on behalf of the Queensland community. This webpage provides access to an important catalogue of historical reports on the status of Queensland fisheries, links to ecological and stock assessments, overviews of monitoring program results and access to fisheries data and fish identification guides.
- Sustainability reporting
- Fisheries Queensland provides publicly available reports on fishery ecological assessment, stock assessments, performance measurement systems and annual status reports.
- Monitoring reporting
- Results of recreational fishing surveys and biological monitoring of fish species conducted by Fisheries Queensland. This monitoring provides some of the baseline data used to assess the status of stocks and the sustainability of the fisheries.
