• Illegal fishing activities
  Report suspected illegal activities (e.g. taking too many fish or taking female crabs) to a fisheries patrol officer on 1800 017 116.
• Noxious and introduced fish sightings
  Report sightings of carp, tilapia or other noxious species in Queensland waterways to 13 25 23.
• Shark net equipment and marine animals
  Report sightings of marine animals trapped in shark net gear or drifting buoys to Fisheries Queensland on 1800 806 891.

Enforcement

• Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol
  QBFP enforces fisheries and boating safety laws, as well as undertaking related education and surveillance. Patrol offices are located along the coast as well as inland.
